Netflix confirms appearance of Jun Ji Hyun and Park Byung Eun on Kingdom’s special episode “Kingdom: Asinjeon”
Netflix confirmed the release of its special episode for “Kingdom: Asinjeon” (literal translation) starring Jun Ji Hyun and Park Byung Eun.
According from the report of Sports Chosun on November 2, the production of the zombie themed series Kingdom substantiate the release of its special episode introducing the newest character of Jun Ji Hyun.
“Kingdom: Asinjeon” is the sequel of Kingdom’s season 2 where Jun Ji Hyun appeared on the finale.
Jun Ji Hyun will portray the role of Asin, the descendant of Yeojin tribe in the Northern part of Joseon.
Meanwhile, Park Byung Eun also confirmed his appearance on the special episode of Kingdom.
The actor still reprised his role as Min Chi Rok which also made an appearance on the season 2 of the series.
“Kingdom” is a Netflix’s original zombie apocalypse set in the Joseon era. It starred South Korea’s stars Ju Ji Hoon, Bae Do Na and more.
The zombie themed series already has 2 sequels composed of 6 episodes per season.
“Kingdom: Asinjeon” will be release via Netflix this coming 2021.
