Tony Gonzaga to star as Jun Ji Hyun’s character in PH adaptation of Korean film “My Sassy Girl”
Filipina actress Tony Gonzaga has confirmed to star as lead in the Philippine adaptation of Korean film My Sassy Girl.
Tin Can Films announced through their official Instagram account on January 21.

My Sassy Girl is a 2001 hit South Korean romantic comedy film starring actress Jun Ji Hyun and actor Cha Tae Hyun.
The story is about a college student Gyeon Woo who’s fate intertwined with a girl who keeps on humiliating him.
Moreover, Tony Gonzaga’s confirmation as the lead of the said adaptation draws excitement from fans.
The Filipina actress is also known for being a great host and for portraying her role very well, may it be drama or comical.
Some of her notable roles are from the film Starting Over Again, My Amnesia Girl, My Big Love and more.
Tony Gonzaga indeed fits the role of Jun Ji Hyun for the upcoming Philippine adaptation.
