GOT7 fulfills their promise of forever with new song, “Encore!”
How are your hearts, Ahgases?
It’s been a roller coaster of emotions for the past weeks and GOT7 proved to us once again that it is indeed “7 or never” and “7 or nothing”.
A month after their contract ended with JYP Entertainment, they are back again with a new single called Encore. The song was released on February 20, 2020 at 6pm KST.
The boys gave hints to fans on February 19 by posting each letter of E N C O R E 
on their personal instagram accounts. These made the fans very excited and became more emotional after the released of a 25-second video teaser by Warner Music Korea.
Jinyoung also took part on the lyrics and composing the song. Encore assured fans that no matter what happen, they will always be together. Got7 and Ahgase will always be one. Their warmest love for each other and fans were also very evident on the song.
The video just felt like home. It started with a black and white surrounding while Jackson is away from the 6. But when he entered the room, it became colorful and no dull moments when the seven of them are together. They were also not wearing flashy clothes nor set up on a very nice location. It was just them on a studio singing, eating, taking pictures, doing their usual stuffs and being happy with each other. They even included the fans’ voice shouting encore. They are the sweetest, right?
It was also a winning moment for all the Filipino Ahgase as the video showed some clips of their last concert held in Manila last October 2019. (I went to this concert and yes I am crying.)
The single debuted #1 on Korean Music site Genie. It also topped the iTunes chart of 41 countries and became a trending topic on twitter.
Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae and Yugyeom already signed on new entertainment agencies that will handle their individual careers. These companies were also very supportive as they are all posting about the new song of Got7. Meanwhile, JB is busy doing magazine shoots. He’s also very active on his social media accounts interacting with fans. Bambam also appeared on a lot of endorsements recently. And Mark just came back to Los Angeles, started his own youtube channel and released a new song.
