Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri in talks to star in new tvN romance drama
Start-Up actor Nam Joo Hyuk and Space Sweeper lead Kim Tae Ri might work together in a romance drama!
It is reported on March 26 that the two actors received a casting offer of tvN’s upcoming romance drama titled Twenty-Five Twenty One (working title) and currently considering their appearance.
Kim Tae Ri’s management, J Wide Company and Nam Joo Hyuk’s agency Management SOOP confirmed and shared it on the same day, that the two are positively reviewing the offer.
Twenty-Five Twenty-One is a youth romance drama situated from 1998 to 2021 about two individuals who met at the age of 22 and 18 but ended up hurting each others feelings.
They meet again in the current time when they are 25 and 21 years old, and started to develop trust and romantic feeling with each other.
Nam Joo Hyuk is said to portray the character of a UBS reporter named Baek Yi Jin, while Kim Tae Ri takes the role of a gold medalist fencing athlete named Na Hee Do.
Moreover, it will be directed by Director Jung Ji Hyun whose past works are Mr. Sunshine and The King: Eternal Monarch among others, and written by Kwon Do Eun who wrote the 2019 drama Search: WWW.
If they accept the casting offers, Twenty-Five Twenty-One will be Nam Joo Hyuk’s following drama after Start-Up and Kim Tae Ri’s comeback drama after three years since Mr. Sunshine.
