Golden Child recorded more than 100k sales for their 5th mini-album, marking the group’s highest sales record since debut

Ever since they debuted in 2017, Golden Child marked the highest record sales of their albums for their comeback last January.
Their 5th mini-album titled YES has recorded a total of 113, 966 albums sold, as of April 8, 2021.

Based on this data gathered by GNCD DATAMGT, this is the highest peak that their albums have reached with over 100, 000 sales.
Their 2nd single album Pump It Up has reached a total of 98, 239 sales, which was Golden Child’s best record before they came back last January with YES.
Overall, Golden Child has now reached a total of 475, 000 album sales on Gaon chart.
Golden Child’s comeback last January has recorded a lot of achievements for the group.
Their title song “Burn It” debuted at #2 on Genie. “Burn It” broke its own record by charting at #1 on January 26 at 1 AM KST. This has been Golden Child’s highest peak on Genie since their debut.
Throughout the promotion, “Burn It” charted at #1 multiple times for their first week since release.
Additionally, “Burn It” won first place at The Show and Show Champion on February 2 and February 3, respectively.
Golden Child ended their promo for “Burn It” but continued with the promotion of their song “Breathe”.
Last March 7, 2021, Golden Child ended the overall promo of their album YES and they had a good duration of promo with all the milestones they achieved.
Meanwhile, Golden Child has been engaged to individual and group activities.
The members have been guesting on radio show programs and tv shows and doing content for various media outlets.
Jangjun is a cast member of Kakao TV’s “Restaurant Next Door”. Jaehyun concluded his web drama titled “Convenience Store Fling“. Joochan is currently starring on Shinswave’s musical sitcom titled “On Air” in which Y/Sungyoon appeared as a guest last March 28. Members Y/Sungyoon, Jangjun, Seungmin, Donghyun, and Joochan were a part of Woollim The Live season 3.
Golden Child members are kept busy even after the promo period of their 5th mini album. With the records they’ve been setting for this comeback, Golden Child has been gaining recognition from the general public and they are that one group to watch out for in the future.
