Got7’s Jay B becomes 1st Korean solo artist to debut on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales Chart

After his successful release of Switch It Up featuring South Korean rapper sokodomo, Jay B just made history as the 1st Korean soloist to enter Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales Chart at #6 on May 25.

His digital single also hit the #18 spot on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales Chart, making him the 3rd Korean Solo Artist to do so.

One of his fansites also shared a screenshot of his Billboard ranking.

The track also charted on South Korea’s local music site and topped iTunes in different countries, and entered the 6th spot in the US.

From the beginning of 2021, he had been busy doing various photoshoots for magazine covers and features.


As of this writing, he already graced seven (7) magazines, namely Maps, 1st Look, Knight (Chinese magazine), The Star, Arena Homme+ Korea, Beauty+ and GQ Korea.

Jay B also hinted before that he already finished a lot of songs and will release it soon.
