Ahn Hyo Seop confirms to star in upcoming romantic comedy drama

As announced by Kakao Entertainment on June 10, actor Ahn Hyo Seop has confirmed to star as the male lead in the upcoming SBS’ romantic comedy drama, The Office Blind Date.
He will play the role of Kang Tae Mu, a third-generation chaebol who is handsome, smart, and a skilled businessman.
His character is a workaholic who loves work more than himself and struggles with love due to his past trauma.
The Office Blind Date is all about a regular office employee who hides her identity and goes on a blind date in place of her friend but little did she know that her date is her company’s CEO.
As for the female lead, it was announced on March 12 that Jo Bo Ah received a casting offer.
On the other hand, Kim Sejeong also received a casting offer same as Jo Bo Ah as revealed on May 6.
Ahn Hyo Seop is remarkable for his roles in the dramas Splash Splash Love, Queen of the Ring, My Father is Strange, Still 17, Abyss, and Doctor Romantic 2.
He will also star in an upcoming romantic fantasy drama Hong Chun Gi alongside Kim Yoo Jung, Gong Myung, and Kwak Si Yang.
Office Blind Date will begin filming in the second half of this year and is set to premiere in the first half of 2022.
