Meet the artists performing on K-pop SuperFest 2021!

The largest Asian music festival in the world is set to happen this June with a talented lineup of 13 South Korean artists!

K-pop SuperFest is a one-day festival brought to us by Sessions and Joy Ruckus Club hosted by AleXa and The Boyz’s Kevin to watch and enjoy our favorite groups performing live online.

Now, let us have a glimpse and meet these talented and powerful artists!

AB6IX

AB6IX is a four-member K-pop boy group debuted in 2019 and consists of members Park Woo Jin, Lee Daehwi, Kim Donghyun, and Jeong Woong.

Before debuting in the group, Park Woo Jin and Lee Daehwi appeared on the K-pop audition show Produce 101 and became part of K-pop boy group project Wanna One from 2017 to 2019.


Kim Donghyun debuted in the unit duo group MXM in 2017, while Jeong Woong has been known as a Super Trainee in the K-pop scene.

Ailee

Ailee is a Korean-American singer-songwriter born in Colorado, raised in New Jersey and moved to South Korean in 2010.

She debuted in 2012 with the single Heaven and became a powerhouse vocalist topping various charts and gained numerous awards.

Moreover, her 2017 song I Will Go to You Like the First Snow hailed as the most streamed K-pop song of the year and the highest selling soundtrack in South Korea of all time.

AleXa

AleXa grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and as a lifelong dancer, she competed and won talent competitions particularly the Rising Legends and signed with ZB Label.

After that winning moment, she competed on South Korean audition show Produce 48 and in 2019, she made her multilingual debut with Bomb.

Aside from being a dancer, AleXa became as the co-host of the People’s Choice Award winning the podcast How Did I Get Here with Day6’s Jae, created a YouTube channel, and also entering the acting industry.

Bloo

Bloo is a South Korean who moved to United States and undoubtedly influence by American hip-hop. He co-founded the hip-hop label MKIT Rain with fellow rappers Nafla and Loopy, they then moved back to Korea.

Moreover, Bloo debuted with the single Drive Thru in 2016 and his distinctive vocals and jazzy styles made him an artist to look forward to.

Cravity

Cravity stands for Center of Gravity, is a nine-member South Korean boy group composed of Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin who debuted in 2020.

Their debut album, EP Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are topped the South Korean album charts and made them one of the best-selling rookie groups of the year.

Cravity also won the New Artist Award in 2020 Soribada Award.

DJ Soda

Soda is a South Korean DJ who embarked on the journey to become a world star DJ in 2013 and her background in musical acting led to her signature stage move, the viral Flute Dance.

The South Korean DJ has a presence in modeling because of her visual and the face for global brands, she also has a charming and enigmatic personality that captivates the audience worldwide.

Golden Child

Golden Child with members Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, TAG, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, Bomin is a 10-member boy group debuted in 2017.

They produced both dark and lively concepts showcasing their powerful vocals and choreographies that gained numerous fans. They also have a presence in variety shows for being innately funny and in acting as a great actors.

Heize

Heize is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer, and rapper that blends with R&B, soul, hip-hop, delicate vocals, and crisp songwriting to craft the most comforting music.

She undeniably have a solid, unique, and powerful voice that caught the listeners and attention and comfort your soul.

After competing on the reality competition Unpretty Rapstar in 2015, she became known and topped the South Korean charts since then.

Jessi

Jessi is South Korean-American singer and rapper born in New York and been raised in New Jersey who produces hit singles that have been known worldwide such as Nunu Nana.

She debuted in 2005 as Jessica Ho and now graced the K-pop scene as Jessi, she also appeared in Unpretty Rapstar that build her superstardom.

Lovelyz

Lovelyz is an eight-member girl group debuted in 2014, composed of members Baby Soul, Jiae, Jisoo, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong, and Yein.

Just like their group’s name, they are quintessential K-pop girl group with cute and fresh music that live up listener’s mood. Moreover, they have also been competed in 2019 reality series Queendom.

Momoland

Momoland is six-member Korean girl group who debuted in 2016 and is consists of members Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy.

The group was formed on the 2016 reality show Finding Momoland and the members now won the said show and released their debut album Welcome to Momoland later that year.

Their successful song Bboom Bboom has been recognized internationally and peaked at number two on the South Korean song charts.

Rain

Rain is a legendary South Korean pop star and actor who debuted in 2002 with his album Bad Guy. He produced numerous amazing songs and also starred in various dramas.

As one of the biggest and most influential stars in Asia and around the world, Rain also created his own agency called RAIN Company.

The Boyz

The Boyz is a 11-member South Korean boy group debuted in 2017 with members  Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Chanhee, Changmin, Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric.

They released numerous songs since then and won numerous awards. The group also participated in reality show Road to Kingdom and they won, securing a spot in its sequel Kingdom: Legendary War where they placed second place.
