“Rurouni Kenshin” films dominate Netflix Philippines Top 10
The four installments of the Japanese live-action film, Rurouni Kenshin starring Takeru Satoh, Emi Takei, Munetaka Aoki, Yu Aoi, and more have dominated Netflix Philippines Top 10 list on June 21.
Rurouni Kenshin: Origins, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, and Rurouni Kenshin: The Final were made available on Netflix Philippines last June 18, the numbers of viewers were increasing and it topped the said streaming app.
The fourth installment which was initially released in Japan on April 23 titled Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, has placed in the top 1, then the next was its first installment Rurouni Kenshin: Origins placing in the top 5.
Moreover, the other two installments didn’t go out of the list as Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno has placed in the top 8, followed by Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends at top 9.
Rurouni Kenshin is a long-time running Japanese live-action film based on the manga of the same name that tells the story of a legendary swordsman and assassin named Kenshin Himura who created a new era.
The first movie was initially released in 2012 and immediately gained fans for its astounding action scenes and notable storyline, and now it currently has a total of five installments.
Its fifth and final installment titled Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning which was initially released on June 4, has not yet been on Netflix.
