Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Tae Hwan confirm to join the cast of new JTBC drama

Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun have finally found their opposites in the upcoming JTBC drama!

Following the confirmed casting of Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun in the upcoming Drama Thirty-Nine, it has finally revealed on August 6 that Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Tae Hwan have confirmed to join the cast members.

Yeon Woo Jin has accepted the offer to play the role of Kim Sun Woo, a warm-hearted 39-year-old dermatologist, who finds himself drawn to Cha Mi Jo, Son Ye Jin‘s character in the drama.

He returned to Korea after emigrating to United States when he is in high school.

Lee Moo Saeng portrays the role of Kim Ji Seok, senior of Cha Mi Jo from school, he’s a kindhearted CEO of Champ Entertainment with a cool personality who falls in love with Chung Chan Young, Jeon Mi Do‘s role in the drama.


Lee Tae Hwan transforms into a chef and a restaurant owner in Chinatown who chooses to open his own restaurant because he wants to cook his own dishes.

He gets to know and spends time with his regular customer named Jang Joo Hee (plays by the actress Kim Ji Hyun) and her friends.

Thirty-Nine depicts a realistic life and love story of three friends who are about to turn 40.

Meanwhile, the drama is set to premiere in the first half of 2022.
