Things you need to know about South Korean soloist Kwon Eunbi!

Kwon Eunbi is a South Korean soloist under Woollim Entertainment. She debuted solo on August 24, 2021, with her first solo mini-album ‘OPEN’ along with the music video for the title track.

Kwon Eunbi is born on September 27, 1995 (currently 25 years old), in Geumcheon-Gu, Seoul. She attended Dong-il Middle School and graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul.

In middle school, she expressed her desire to attend a dance academy, but her parents were initially against her decision. Determined to become a singer, she seeks help from her other family members and convinces her parents to let her attend an arts high school.

At the age of 17, she becomes a backup dancer for girl groups such as Secret, Girl’s Day, and Lovelyz and later on encourages by Girl’s Day Hyeri (her senior in high school) to pursue her dream of becoming an idol.

She debuted under Kiroy Company with other seven members with the group name of Ye-A last July 18, 2014, with their digital single ‘National Treasure’ which contained their only track ‘Up And Down’.


It is believed that the group had quietly disbanded after releasing only one single when the company stopped uploading content to their official Youtube channel on May 17, 2015.

Later on, she auditioned for different entertainment companies and eventually signed a contract with Woollim Entertainment.

In 2018, she participated in the survival show of Mnet, Produce 48 along with Chaewon, Soyun, and Sohee.

Consistently ranked among the Top 12, she eventually ranked 7th on the final episode which allowed her to debut as a member of IZ*ONE with fellow Woollim Entertainment trainee, Kim Chaewon.

IZ*ONE made their official debut on October 29, 2018, with their first extended play (EP) Color*Iz. And the members brand her as the group’s leader.

Earlier this year, IZ*ONE wrap up their promotions with a final concert for their fans last March 2021, and the group was officially disbanded last April 29, 2021. And went back to her company with Chaewon.

During her hiatus, Rocket Punch released their debut Japanese album ‘Bubble Up!’, which includes a track written and co-produced by Kwon Eunbi, titled ‘Let’s Dance’.

And finally! Kwon Eunbi has made her much-anticipated solo debut last August 24!
