Kim So Yeon in talks to play female lead role in ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed 2’
It was reported that the 2020 series titled Tale of the Nine-Tailed with Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, and Kim Bum as the season 1 cast will be back for season 2 with a different female lead on the screen.
Following that, a representative from the entertainment industry shared on October 27 that actress Kim So Yeon will reportedly play the female lead character on the said fantasy series.
The actress agency, J-Wide Company, released a statement on the same day saying, “Kim So Yeon did receive a casting offer and the script for the Tale of the Nine-Tailed 2. However, there’s nothing confirmed yet as of now.”
Kim So Yeon draws the viewer’s attention in her amazing portrayal of an antagonist named Cheon Seo Jin in the popular revenge and family 2020 drama titled Penthouse from Season 1 and 3.
Meanwhile, Tale of the Nine-Tailed successfully aired in 2020 is a fantasy romance drama about a male gumiho who lived in the city. There is also a fearless producing director who is determined to hunt him down.
The original casts, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum will still continue to appear in the series’ upcoming season and directed by Director Kang Shin Hyo.
