Our weekend dose of kilig and therapeutic vibes is has ended, but our feels will forever remain.
One of the weekly anticipated Korean dramas we all loved to watch for its romantic scenes, OST’s that stirred up our emotions, the star-studded characters, and the seaside settings of Hometown Cha Cha Cha that brought us tranquility and soothe our soul will be sorely missed.
A fortunate Filipino fan who is based in Seoul, South Korea visit the filming location of Hometown Cha Cha Cha. La la la la la la~
Marc who is a huge fan of Kim Seon Ho and well-known with his username callmemakeu, uploaded on his Youtube account one of his favorite on-the-list trip getaway- Pohang.
For the future reference of one great travel experience, Marc included the list of the exact locations he visited:
The first stop location is the house of the characters Halmeoni, Yoo Hye Jin, and Hong Du Shik, which is located in a real-life residential area, and tourists are restricted to enter the private property.
Second, on the list, the Gongjin Town Hall where the meetings and elderly gathering took place, is the exact town hall of Seokbyeong 1-ri.
The dental clinic established by Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah) is a scuba diving equipment shop and fishermen’s welfare center in real life!
This area covered mostly the other characters’ shops including the Cafe in the Middle of the Day and Beer in the Moonlight, Squid Monument, Gongjin Market, and the Laundry Shops.
The waves crashing on your feet will surely be nostalgic as the surfing episode of Du Shik’s first meet-up with Hye Jin searching for the other pair of her lost heels took place.
You cannot miss this spot while visiting Pohang! The shipwreck at the top of the mountain is breathtakingly amazing and surely you will be lost in words how magnificent it was while seeing the sunsets.
Here is the reminder from Marc, and that is to keep on dreaming and continue doing what your heart wants to achieve a productive day.
This is one great experience for a fan, a surreal feeling of being in a place where your favorite drama scene actually happened.
Ahh! The Gongjin scenes will be etched in our hearts! Congratulations to the whole production of Hometown Cha Cha Cha!
