SEVENTEEN is back to ‘Rock With You’ with their 9th mini-album ‘ATTACCA’
K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN released on the 22nd of October their 9th mini-album called “ATTACCA”. It has seven tracks that talk about the different kinds of love, which are also part of SEVENTEEN’s “Power of Love” project. The album also includes their first English song called “2 MINUS 1” which was sung by Vernon and Joshua.
The album includes fresh music from the Performance Team, Vocal Team, and Hip Hop Team. For the Performance Team, the song “PANG!” will kind of remind you of SEVENTEEN’s song “Home”. The melody of the song was created to build up that rhythm starting from the intro until you reach the hook where it suddenly drops into a soulful melody and then it will bring you to the upbeat chorus. For the Vocal Team, it was quite refreshing to hear the sound of an electric guitar and drums as you listen to the angelic voices of the vocal team. Their song “Imperfect Love” is the song that you would love to listen to as you watch the rain falling outside with a warm coffee or choco on your hand and make you remember good times. Last but not least is the wonderful vocals of the Hip Hop Team. I was ready for the fast beat but was surprised by the acoustic guitar intro, which you will love. They still rap but their honey-glazed vocal voices will pull you closer to them. It makes you want to take care of them. “I Can’t Runaway” definitely lives up to its title because you won’t be able to run away from SEVENTEEN.
There is a Listening Party at various timing from the 22nd to the 26th of October. Check this link for more updates.
Aside from their new mini-album, SEVENTEEN is also Lazada’s first regional (South East Asia) Happiness Ambassador. SEVENTEEN will take the stage and perform their hit songs like “Left and Right” and “Ready to Love” at Lazada’s signature 11.11 Supershow on November 10, 2021. Let’s keep on supporting SEVENTEEN!
Carats! Which of their song from “ATTACCA” is your favorite and why? We would love to hear your thoughts.
