Get tangled in prophecies and judgments in Netflix’s new series, “Hellbound”

We are currently living in a chaotic world filled with pain, suffering and death that was brought by the pandemic. As we continue to try and survive the pandemic, what would you do if an angel comes to give you a prophecy and tell you when you will die and that you are bound to go to hell, and when day of your death arrives, the executors of hell will fulfill the prophecy. A judgement that were only supposed to be given to sinners.

In the newly release trailer of “Hellbound”, Park Jungja (played by Kim Shin-rok) was happily celebrating her birthday with her kids when an angel appeared on her wall to give her a hellbound decree. The trailer continues and showed how the world turned into utter chaos. You can also hear the voice of Jung Jinsu (played by Yoo Ah In) as he claims that the supernatural phenomenon is God’s warning to sinners. However, the live streaming of Park Jungja’s execution, turned the world into a living hell as people become suspicious and hateful of each other. And then you will hear Jung Jinsu’s words, “I’d like to welcome you all to the new world,” words that hint to mean something more than it seems.

Hellbound” is based on the webtoon of the same title and is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the man behind the masterpiece like “Train to Busan” and “Peninsula“, the movies that did not only made your heart race but also touched you with its story. In this series, he will keep the viewers at the edge of their seats as he shows the shrewd portrayal of a chaotic society and the different aspects of people.

The new Netflix series “Hellbound” will provide the most suspenseful hellbound prophecies that are way beyond your imagination. It will not only keep you on your toes but it is also made to deliver a message or even teach you a thing or two depending on your own perspective.
