23,160 new Covid cases reported in Korea, up 800 on week

Korea recorded 23,160 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, up by more than 800 from the same day a week earlier, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
 
The number of critically ill patients stands at 458, and 40 Covid-related deaths were reported.
 
The cumulative number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea is 27,331,250.
