K-pop stars' Christmas carol covers now free to listen to on Naver
Christmas carols sung by K-pop stars and artists are now free to listen to on Naver, the Naver Cultural Foundation said Friday.
The “2022 Christmas” project, jointly created with the foundation, features tracks from eight acts: Le Sserafim’s Huh Yun-jin, AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun, sunwoojunga, ph-1 and Sumin, Yun Seokchul Trio, Colde, Cadejo and Kangziwon.
Huh sang Wham!’s 1984 hit song “Last Christmas” and Lee sang the classic “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
Naver and the foundation funded the release of the songs, as well as produced live performance videos for the songs.
The songs have been released as individual singles and are available to listen to for free via Vibe, Naver’s music streaming service, until Christmas day.
