Man in 50s found dead on train tracks of Suwon Station

A man in his 50s was found dead on the train tracks of Suwon Station in Gyeonggi, on Sunday.
At 7:23 p.m. Sunday, a body was found by an engineer on the train tracks of subway line 1. The engineer immediately reported the incident.
Some 200 passengers on a train passing through Suwon Station had to transfer to another train as the incident was being dealt with.
Eleven other trains were delayed between 14 to 35 minutes.
“The police are investigating the details of the accident, but it is thought that the man was hit by a train that passed Suwon Station,” said an official from the Korea Railroad Corporation.
