Napoli beat Salernitana 2-0 on Saturday to become only the third team in the three-point-win era to reach 50 points before Serie A reached its halfway point.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Victor Osimhen bagged a goal each on the road on Saturday as the Partenopei bounced back from a bizarre wobble that saw them knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Serie A's weakest team last week.

Kim Min-jae was back in the starting XI and played the full 90 minutes, as Luciano Spalletti returned to a full-strength lineup after underestimating Cremonese a few days earlier.

Saturday's win over 16th-place Salernitana comes ahead of a far more important fixture next week, when the Naples side take on Jose Mourinho's Roma.
