Death toll from heavy rain at 33 while10 are still missing

The unofficial number of people that had died from the recent torrential rain is now at 34 as the eighth person was recovered from the submerged underpass in Osong, North Gyeongsang, just before 1 p.m.
According to the government as of 11 a.m. Sunday the death toll from the heavy rain that lasted for four days, was 33.
This figure included seven corpses that were recovered from the Osong underpass that was submerged on Saturday after the nearby Miho River was flooded.
Most were passenger of a bus that was trapped.
The number of death could further go up as 10 people are still missing.
According to the government, North Gyeongang topped the chart in the number of people, who had died from the recent torrential rain, at 17.
North Chungcheong trailed behind with 11. This figure did not include the eighth person recovered from the submerged underpass.
