Korea’s consumer prices rise 3.7% in September

The growth rate rose 0.3 percentage points from a month earlier, staying above 3 percent for two consecutive months after hovering at the 2 percent range in June and July.
Core inflation, excluding volatile food and energy prices, rose 3.3 percent on year, down 0.1 percentage point from a month earlier.

Consumer price growth has cooled after it peaked at 6.3 percent in July last year.
