Two lives lost and nearly 30 injured in Christmas morning fire

 Two people died while nearly 30 others were injured in a fire at an apartment in Dobong District, Seoul, on Christmas morning.  
 
According to the local fire department on Monday, a fire broke out in a 27-story apartment in Banghak-dong, Dobong District, at 4:57 a.m.  
The fire originated in an apartment on the third floor.

Two men in their 30s and a woman in her 70s were discovered in a state of cardiac arrest and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Two did not survive.  
 
Some 200 firefighters were dispatched. The fire was extinguished at 8:40 a.m.  
 
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
