Korea's Amy Yang won the KPMG Women's PGA Championship on Sunday with a seven-under-par, 281, capturing her first major and securing a spot at the Paris Olympics.
Yang, 34, finished three strokes ahead of those tied for second place after heading into the final round with a two-shot lead at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington.
She took home the grand prize of $1,560,000, one of the biggest first-place bags on the LPGA Tour.
Her last win came at the season-ending 2023 CME Group Tour Championship, which carries the biggest purse every season.
Korea's Ko Jin-young tied for second place with a four-under-par, 284, alongside the United States' Lilia Vu and Japan's Miyu Yamashita.
Ryu Hae-ran, the 2023 Rookie of the Year, ended in a five-way tie for ninth with a one-under-par, 287.
Yang's win marks the first time a Korean golfer has won an LPGA title during the 2024 season.
