Details other than the date were not unveiled on Friday, but a phrase within the teaser video read "I Felt Helpless," showing a stark contrast from the energetic vibe that Seventeen had been known for so far.

The EP comes six months after its previous album "17 Is Right Here" was released in April and a year after its previous EP "Seventeenth Heaven" last October.

The band sold over 5.3 million copies of its album during the first half of this year, according to Pledis Entertainment, including album "This Man" by JxW, a unit formed by members Jeonghan and Wonwoo.

Seventeen is set to kick off its "Right Here" world tour with two concerts in Goyang, Gyeonggi, on Oct. 12 and 13.
