Ok Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon in talks to star in tvN’s upcoming drama “Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi”
Popular stars Ok Taecyeon and actress Kim Hye Yoon are currently in talks to star on tvN’s upcoming historical drama “Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi.”
According from report on March 19 and April 1, Ok Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon received an offer to be casted in the said drama.
“Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” is a historical fantasy drama about a lazy public servant and a reckless woman who will help him uncover the scheme within the government.
As a response, both Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon’s agency responded that both stars received the offer but nothing has been decided yet.
Kim Hye Yoon rise to popularity when she stars in JTBC’s Sky Castle, and landed her first lead role on Extraordinary You. She is also set to appear on JTBC’s upcoming drama Snowdrop.
Meanwhile, Taecyeon is currently starring in tvN’s ongoing black comedy drama Vincenzo as alongside Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin.
He is also popular for his remarkable works such as Dream High, Let’s Fight Ghost, The Game: Towards Zero, just to name a few.
“Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” will be directed by Yoo Jung Soon and will be written by Lee Jae Yoon.
