So Ji Sub confirms to star in upcoming MBC’s medical-legal drama
The long wait is over for So Ji Sub, we will be seeing him again in another drama soon!
It was announced on July 5 that actor So Ji Sub has confirmed to take the lead role in the new medical-legal drama Dr. Lawyer.
His agency, 51K as well shared the good news to their official Instagram account.
He will play the role of a medical malpractice lawyer named Han Yi Han who was once a double-board genius surgeon with specialties in general and thoracic surgery but changes his career path due to an incident.
Dr. Lawyer is a heartwarming medical-legal drama that talks about a genius doctor who became a malpractice lawyer after losing everything because of rigged surgery and a prosecutor in charge of medical crimes who loses their only family and lover through that surgery.
It was on May 26 when he was offered to take the said role and finally, after 4 years, he will now having his comeback drama following his drama in 2018, My Secret Terrius.
Moreover, So Ji Sub is remarkable as well in his roles in Master’s Sun, Oh My Venus, Battleship Island, Always, and Be With You.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lawyer is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2022.
