Director Kang Yun Sung reportedly direct Kingdom’s sidequel, “Kingdom: The Crown Prince”
After the release of Kingdom‘s special episode, Kingdom: Ashin of the North, the making of another Kingdom side story titled Kingdom: The Crown Prince was reported on July 23.
Kingdom: The Crown Prince is Kingdom’s second side story and talks about the past and present life of Prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji Hoon) who is the main lead on the previous two seasons of the Kingdom series.
It was reported that director Kang Yun Sung will direct the said series and is now planning to start the pre-production and filming in the second half of this year with Ju Ji Hoon.
Kingdom has two seasons and a prequel titled Kingdom: Ashin of the North, and this upcoming sidequel will be the second side story of the said series.
