Jang Dong Yoon in talks to star in upcoming rom-com drama “My Man Is Cupid”
Dongyi Company confirmed that Jang Dong Yoon received an offer to star in a new romantic comedy drama and is positively considering it.
The upcoming romantic comedy drama is titled “My Man Is Cupid”. It follows the story of a fairy who has burned his wings and falls in love after being shot by a bow and a woman who got involved in this situation.
Jang Dong Yoon will play the role of Cheon Sang Hyeok, owner of Sarangbang, a high-end Korean chain restaurant located in Jongno.
Jang Dong Yoon’s character also worked as a detective in Jongno Police Station and went missing.
If Jang Dong Yoon accepts the offer, this will be his first modern romantic comedy drama and first romantic comedy drama in 2 years.
In 2019, Jang Dong Yoon starred in the historical romantic comedy drama “The Tale of Nokdu” alongside Kim So Hyun.
Last year, he starred in the drama “Search” and recently wrapped up the filming of his upcoming movie “Long D“.
The drama is written by Heo Seong Hee and will be produced by HB Entertainment. There’s no confirmation yet on where the drama will be aired.
The filming will begin in the second half of the year.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon has been receiving praises and recognition because of his acting skills. He’s an actor to watch out for!
